Eitel Dahm, the President and Founder, trained in Germany
as an automotive technician. After coming to the United States and working
as a technician, he opened his own service facility in 1973 to repair
European imports. Later this shop became an authorized BMW service center,
offering warranty repair, general service and selling genuine BMW parts.
In 1975, Bavarian Motor Village Ltd. moved to its present
location and became a full BMW franchised dealer. On Christmas Eve,
1980 the original building on Gratiot burned. The following fall the
present dealership, the first BMW corporate identity facility in the
United States, was opened. In 2003 We grew again and opened a state
of art retail center, BavarianBMW, in Shelby Township, Michigan. Within
six month of opening our growth hit new records.
This short history of where we came from and how we
grew, leads to the future. With dedication and hard work from our employees,
the future will be bright and filled with growth. Customer Satisfaction
is our highest priority. Our business reputation has been built on the
care and service we give our customers.
There is no finish line. Our goal is to achieve excellence
in all relations dealing with our customers and fellow workers. |
